Our Prospective of the Park

Prospect Park a wonderful place to see some of the sights of Brooklyn, walk around. About a 526-acre (213 hectares) public park in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, and the second largest public park in Brooklyn. The park is situated between the neighborhoods of Park Slope, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Ditmas Park and Windsor Terrace, as well as Flatbush Avenue, Grand Army Plaza and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Prospect Park is run and operated by the Prospect Park Alliance and New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. It is part of the Brooklyn-Queens Greenway.

While this wonderful little park maybe big many events happen around it each year. Such as the Kicking Off for spring. This usually signifies that Spring is here and everybody should be out walking about the park. Another event that happens is the Prospect Park Soiree. This is where people come together and show and give many of their different foods, wear your most festive attire, bring your favorite bottle of wine, and dine and dance under the stars in one of Prospect Park’s most scenic locations. Show off your creativity with a show-stopping topper—a fabulous hat or headpiece of your choosing—as well as table décor that celebrates the beautiful surroundings, and raise your glass in a toast to Brooklyn's Backyard.
